Half the Time

I sense the tension

Of your movements

The beating of the room

Smile disappeared from

Each of your eyes

A day of pain

Would leave a wound

It lingers in my mind

A day engraved in memory

Those words left in walls

These walls of my childhood

I am now forced to abandon

For half of my future

Half of my memories

Half of me

For half the time
